Welcome to Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm where we breed, show and sell high quality miniature horses. The farm is located in La Center, Washington, just 30 minutes North of Portland, Oregon. Thistle Fields Miniature Horse Farm was established in November of 2003. I bought my first 'ponies' in 1990, since I was unable to afford quality AMHA stock. A couple of years later, my husband died, leaving me to raise 3 young sons by myself. My horse plans were put on a back burner for 10 years. In late 2002, I finally bought my first AMHA horses. Since then, I have been expanding my herd slowly but surely. I currently own 28 horses, 19 of which are AMHR registered. Plans are to have most of my herd double registered, AMHA and AMHR, by the end of 2013.

Thistle Fields always has a few quality miniature horses for sale. **I've just added some of my best horses to the For Sale page, as I'm trying to reduce my herd some. Prices and availability are subject to change, without notice, as my herd gets reduced in size. Remember to use the inside scroll bar, in order to view all of the horses within the sales page. Feel free to inquire on any horse if interested, within the other pages, as I might be able to work with you. Discounts will be given for multiple horse purchases. International inquiries are welcome as well.

When buying horses, I look for 1)excellent conformation 2)small size and 3)color. I'm currently concentrating on adding the dun, agouti, roan and silver genes to my herd. My select group of stallions are all 30 inches and under. The "new boy" of my herd is a stunning 30" bay roan dun son of Sheep Meadow Whiz. Some of the famous bloodlines in my herd include Boones Little Buckeroo, Gold Melody Boy, Komokos Little King Supreme, Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, Orion Light Van't Huttenest, Sheep Meadow Whiz, Harts Tip Top Flash, Bond AToy4UC, Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan, Sierra Dawn Uno's Monarch, Nostalgias Double Jeopardy and Chianti.
